BLACK WIDOW [Movie Review]

Natasha Romanoff, also known as Black Widow, confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.

This film was fun and you can have an amazing time with the family seeing one of the avengers have their last film in the MCU with comedic moments and touching some points of things that due happen in real life.

But even though we had to wait two years for this film due to Covid-19. The wait was too much for a simple spy film with a lot of similarities with Winter Soldier.

This film touches a lot of Me Too movement situations like Human Trafficking especially in young women and Male Empowerment. Having these topics in the film but very light was good to have in mind that these things happen.

The film has a lot of great moments and jokes plus adding a flare with Yelena that took the spotlight in this film full. But it’s understandable if Marvel wants to use Florence Pugh as the new Black Widow.

But the film lacks in the villain portion in a big way. Where Taskmaster was kinda predictable of who was in the reveal and what is the purpose of Dreykov. This film could have been way better if they would have taken the risk to give us a broader plot and a darker touch to Black Widow.

In all these flaws that the film has its fun to watch and enjoy and having the touch with the post-credit scene, it ties in nicely with the MCU and what might happen in the future.
